Issues of aviation security and protection of air transport facilities were considered

The regular Republican meeting on aviation security and protection of civil aviation from acts of unlawful interference was held at the "Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan" JSC.
Representatives of the Civil Aviation Committee of the MIID RoK, Chief Transport Prosecutor's Office of the RoK, National Security Committee of the RoK, Police Department on the transport of the MIID RoK, as well as the aviation security deputy heads of airports, airlines and Kazaeronavigatsiya were attended at the meeting.
The meeting addressed issues of aviation security in the country and protection of air transport facilities that are vulnerable to terrorism, as well as the planned activities for 2022-2023 years.
Understanding and taking into account possible threats to security that currently exist in the world as a result of ongoing terrorist acts, most states actively pursue a policy of enhancing security measures in air transport.
In this regard, representatives of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan have announced the results of the year 2021 and have discussed this year's January events in terms of the protection of civil aviation facilities from acts of unlawful interference.
Airports and airlines reported, and constructive proposals were made to improve the protection of civil aviation from acts of unlawful interference. All proposals were adopted by the aviation Kazaeronavigatsiya security department of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan.
According to the results of the meeting, there were given concrete instructions to the airports and airlines to carry out constant analysis and risk assessment, to carry out qualitative and continuous monitoring of the state of protection of facilities and to take immediate measures on protection of civil aviation from unlawful interference.
