Finnish airline Finnair will transform their business class into private lounge as part of a complete interior upgrade of their long-haul aircrafts. The program budget is 200 million euros.
The new AirLounge business class seats were developed by Finnair's special order from Collins Aerospace having the great experience in producing high-precision equipment for airliners. A passenger will have access to a private cabin, which is maximally separated from the main passenger compartment. Electronic devices can be charged via USB ports or wireless charging.
The Finnair Long-Range Fleet Renewal Program is intended for two years. During this time, the airline plans to update all its long-haul Airbus A330 and Airbus A350 aircrafts. The first Finnair's updated aircraft will be operated this spring. The routes will be announced by the airline on March 1.
