Air New Zealand named the safest airline in 2021

Air New Zealand has won the annual rating of the safest air carriers in the world, compiled by the specialized Internet portal AirlineRatings.com.

Air New Zealand is an airline that cares about safety and its customers. Over the past 18 months of COVID-19, the company has succeeded in a wide range of safety. Air New Zealand has become the first airline in the world, which had achieved tangible results in vaccination of citizens operating on domestic routes or test negative for COVID-19 before boarding. Last fall, the carrier even turned one of its 787s into a vaccination clinic. From February 1, 2022, the airline will require complete vaccination from passengers on international flights.

Annually, the rating promoters analyze the function of 385 airlines by considering a series of factors, including the accidents, safety programs, results of government and industry audits.
