The most punctual European and international airlines were named

The most punctual major international airlines in 2021 were All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan Airlines (JAL) and Russia's Aeroflot, according to the analytical company Cirium. The Group analysed data from 600 sources with relevant information.

The principle of the ratings compilation was based on global largest airlines, representing 10 % at three regions. The company took into account the time of arrival. The flight was considered to be completed on schedule if it arrived with a delay no more than 15 minutes.

In Europe, the first place was taken by the Spanish low-cost carrier Vueling with a result of 92.1% of scheduled arrivals. This is followed by the Spanish regional carrier Iberia Express with a punctuality rate of 91.8% and the Scandinavian low-cost carrier Norwegian Air Shuttle with 91.5%. The worst result in the top ten in terms of punctuality was taken by the new Italian state-owned airline ITA Airways - 86%.
