Flights may be launched between Turkestan and Vilnius

The Consul of the Republic of Lithuania Gvidas Kerushauskas paid a working visit to Turkestan, Kazinform writes (inform.kz). Deputy Akim of the Turkestan region Rashid Ayupov held a meeting with the ambassador from the Baltics and conducted in detail bilateral negotiations.

“Since 2018, the Turkestan region has received investments totalling US $ 3.5 billion.  Lithuanian and Kazakhstan enterprises have a great opportunity to implement joint projects. We are also interested in cooperation regarding the tourism industry. The number of tourists is expected to be reached by five million in the near future. Therefore, we are proposing to launch flights between Turkestan and Vilnius by developing special tour packages”, the deputy akim suggested.

The Ambassador of Lithuania informed the entrepreneurs of his country about the support investors, noting the positive achievements in the region and efforts to strengthen the partnership between our states.
