Helsinki Airport will be temporarily renamed in December in honor of its passengers and guests. This idea will be implemented by two-line electronic scoreboards that will be placed on the new fronts of the terminal. The first line contains the name of the person, the second - Helsinki Airport.

A passenger can send an application for the temporary renaming of the airport on the special website myhelsinkiairport.fi, after which a new name will be appeared on the scoreboard for a few minutes in the format “Name’s Helsinki Airport” (for example: Petro’s Helsinki Airport).

Thus, the Helsinki Airport intends to celebrate the opening of the upgraded Terminal 2 by using different programmes. For several years, Finavia has been promoting such modernization campaigns.
