Kazakhstan initiated the acquisition of Turkish drones

Kazakhstan, following Ukraine, initiated the acquisition of Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles for military forces, Anadolu agency writes. On behalf of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan the "Kazspecexport" signed a supply contract for ANKA UAVs with the Turkish aerospace company Türk Havacılık ve Uzay Sanayi AŞ (TUSAŞ).
In accordance with the agreement until 2023, the Air Force of Kazakhstan will receive three drones equipped with electro-optics, an infrared port and laser rangefinder. The drones can climb to an altitude of 10 km, carry a load up to 350 kg and operate at a distance of 250 km.
According to the TUSAŞ CEO Temel Kotil, the signed contract with Kazakhstan is an important export success for the company. The supply of ANKA drones to Kazakhstan following Tunisia is a very important achievement, given the increase in drone export market.
