Frankfurt-Hahn Airport (IATA: HHN) has announced that it would seek an investor interested in taking stock or assets in the project company. Flights to / from the German airport will be operated following the customary schedule despite the fact that a financial insolvency process has been launched on 17 October.
According to Managing Administrator Jan Markus Platner, the M&A consulting agency Falkensteg (based in Düsseldorf) has been appointed responsible for finding investors.
HHN, Frankfurt's second largest airport, is used primarily by cargo and low cost carriers, including Ryanair and Wizz Air.
