VIP-Superjet was created in Russia

The Russian United Aircraft Corporation has presented a VIP-aircraft based on the Superjet 100 civil airliner with an increased flight range. The cabin was created in collaboration with the luxury car brand Aurus.  The aircraft has been fully named as Aurus Business Jet.

The Irkut corporation, co-partner of the project, stated that the main advantage of the VIP-Superjet is the cabin production, consisting of 118 cubic meters with a ceiling height of 2.1 meters. The VIP cabin includes a meeting room that can be simultaneously operated as a dining room, as well as ​a lounge and standard shower room. The flight range of the Aurus Superjet-100 has been doubled compared to the basic passenger model up to 7,200 km, allowing to operate from Moscow to Vladivostok without refueling.

Another feature of the new luxury aircraft is the built-in electric ramp that enables passengers to get out even at aerodromes without similar ramps. The Aurus Business Jet will be certified in 2022. The Interior design is estimated at 900 million rubles ($ 12 million)
