Embraer has presented a green aircraft concept

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer has presented a new aircraft concept in dimension from nine to fifty seats. The company notes that such airplanes are designed to reanimate local airlines since "the business process digitalization enables people to live and work remotely from megacities". The main feature of the project are sustainable energy methods.

The product is being developed under the single Energia brand and will be introduced into global market between 2030 and 2040. There are three options for propulsion: electric, hybrid and hydrogen fuel in order to reduce noise and eliminate carbon emissions.

"This concept has been included to substantiate the impact of the proposed engineering effort regarding our aircrafts in the next 10-20 years. We will conduct successive negotiations with potential investors and customers about the optimal direction," - said Arjan Mayer, President of Embraer Commercial Aircraft.
