Gulf Air has joined the commercial passenger carriers offering their long-haul aircrafts for private charters. The growing trend is intended to generate the much-needed additional revenue for airlines in a virtually closed international market.
Bahrain's national carrier has named the new business area as the Boutique Charters, allowing customers to book direct charter flights on request. The new service is offered to different organizations and individuals, government and corporate delegations, group tourism, wedding parties, family vacations and the delivery of private cargo.
In 2019, Gulf Air announced that the company is intended to adhere the business model, executives have identified as boutique travel. By doing so, the Bahraini flagship differentiate itself from other Gulf airlines, which are focusing on large traffic volumes. Gulf Air's strategy is aimed at improving the product and unique customer experience. Boutique Charters create a business aviation atmosphere. Clients have a wide range of services at their disposal, including a restaurant menu, unlimited Internet access, fresh flowers.
