Kazakhstan suggested opening the Budapest - Almaty flight

Kazakhstan offered Hungary to launch the Budapest - Almaty - Budapest flight, according to the Kazinform MIA (www.inform.kz). The Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi met with Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Finance of Hungary Mihai Varga to discuss this issue.

In September, regular flights have been restored between Nur-Sultan and Budapest operated by the Hungarian airline WizzAir. Recently, the frequency of flights has been increased up to two flights per week by decision of the Government. In this regard, the Hungarian side was offered to launch a second flight on the Budapest - Almaty - Budapest route.

“Hungary is our reliable and first strategic partner in Central and Eastern Europe, a friendly state, and we feel a historical and spiritual connection with this nation,” Mukhtar Tleuberdi stated.
