A coronavirus vaccination certificate has become one of the main documents for travelers, making them possible to travel without a PCR test. However, a certificate is not available for everyone. Meanwhile, foreign airlines suggest to make a vaccination certificate as mandatory, Tengritravel.kz writes.

"The WHO position consists in providing the national authorities and transport operators not to impose the COVID-19 vaccination requirements for international travel as a condition for exit or entry. Currently, the vaccination certificate as a travel requirement is not recommended due to the fact that vaccination is not available globally", said Michael Ryan, the WHO Executive Director for Emergencies.

Previously, the Australian Qantas has announced in November 2020 that it would include a COVID-19 vaccination certificate in the list of requirements for an international flight. Colleagues from Air New Zealand have begun implementing a similar policy. Representatives of the Kazakhstan airlines expressed their doubts, confirming that such requirements in our state have not yet been clearly identified. Passengers traveling both domestically and internationally do not need a vaccination certificate.
