Leonardo presents the legendary VIP Agusta helicopter

Italian aerospace company Leonardo has decided to bring back the historic Agusta brand in operating the corporate and VIP helicopter technology. The history of the name Agusta has been around for almost a century. The company expects the historic brand will be associated with technology, luxury and style.
The manufacturer's decision was also influenced by the fact that in 2017 the Airbus concern decided to change its helicopter brand Eurocopter to Airbus Corporate Helicopters - for greater recognition. The recovery of the historic brand was announced on October 2 in Dubai and coincides with the opening of a helicopter terminal at the Dubai Expo in cooperation with Falcon Aviation Services.
The opening of the terminal under the name Casa Agusta (house of Agusta) was accompanied by the debut of the AW609 tiltrotor in the Middle East. The manufacturer argues the historic brand will strengthen the company's position in the VIP helicopter market in the run-up to the development of innovative models for sustainable local traffic.
