US experts will explore the possibility of the local airports

TSA experts (Transportation Security Administration) are assessing and analyzing the quality of aviation security in Kazakhstan, Tengritravel.kz writes with reference to the Civil Aviation Committee of the MIID RK.

According to Aviation Authorities of Kazakhstan, US experts will conduct certifying operations on the ability of our airports to completely operate flights to the United States of America. In addition, experts will explore the possibility of aviation authorities to provide effective monitoring and oversight of airport operators and civil aircrafts in the field of aviation security.

TSA specialists got acquainted with the activities of the Kazakhstan aviation civil regulator and the aviation security system at airports and airlines. During the session, parties discussed the modalities of the follow-up TSA audit in order to open direct flights from Kazakhstan to the United States. Besides, specialists considered issues relating to regulatory legal acts in the field of aviation security for their compliance with the ICAO standards and recommended practices.
