Kazakhstan citizens can use a digital ID card at Turkestan airport

Kazakhstan citizens may present a digital ID at Turkestan airport through the "e-Gov Mobile" application to confirm their personal data. Previously, the service was available at Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Aktobe and Shymkent airports.
To use a digital identity card, a user have to enter the Digital Documents service at the "e-Gov mobile" system by selecting his identity card. Then he shows a smartphone screen with a generated QR code at the check-in counter or during pre-flight security.
The opportunity to use a digital ID card on domestic flights is able through the combined efforts of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development, the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry, "Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan" JSC, "National Information Technologies" JSC, airlines and airports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The digital document service operates in pilot approach and digital flights are available between Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Aktobe, Shymkent and Turkestan. Passengers who intend to use the service at the above-mentioned airports are advised to have an original identity card during the pilot approach.
