Beginning from the third decade of October, Kazakhstan’s SCAT airlines will start operating Almaty-Jeddah and Almaty-Medina flights with the frequency of one flight a week on each route.
The Interdepartmental Commission on Preventing the Occurrence and Spread of Coronavirus Infection in the Territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan decided positively on the resumption of regular flights between Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia at the meeting held on September 7, 2021.
Further increase of flights to Saudi Arabia will depend on the epidemiological situation, decisions of the Interagency Commission and the decisions of relevant government authorities of Saudi Arabia.
Flights will be operated in strict compliance with approved sanitary and epidemiological standards and the schedule published on the airline’s website.
