Qatar Airways starts flights to Kazakhstan

On August 31, 2021, at a regular meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on Preventing the Occurrence and Spread of Coronavirus Infection in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the issue regarding opening regular flights between Kazakhstan and Qatar was considered.

So,  through to the work of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the aviation authorities of Qatar to create and expand the legal framework in the field of air communication between the two countries, Qatar Airways plans to start regular flights to Kazakhstan from October 15, 2021 between the cities of Doha and Almaty.

The flights are planned to be operated with a frequency of 2 flights per week on Mondays and Fridays on A-320 aircraft in strict compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements and in accordance with the published schedule on the airline's website.

The opening of regular flights between the two countries will contribute to the further development of trade, economic, cultural and tourism relations between Kazakhstan and Qatar.
