China intends to innovate their major airports

According to the General Civil Aviation Administration of the PRC (People's Republic of China), the national baggage management system will be improved through the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification Device) using a baggage tracking. During the year, all the major airports with an annual capacity of 10 million passengers would have to apply the RFID technology, inbusiness.kz writes.
As of June this year, 27 major airports with an annual capacity of 10 million passengers have already implemented and approved projects for RFID technologies by promoting within the sector. Several Chinese airlines have already begun providing passengers with services on tracking the baggage status throughout the journey.
From January to June this year, Chinese Civil Aviation has operated 32,667 flights equipped with 792,800 pieces of baggage using new track technologies along the whole route, as reported by the aforementioned agency.
