In the first half of 2021, 4.2 million passengers were transported, which is 79.6% more than in the same period last year, whereby the traffic immediately has been decreased by 35.8%. Most of transportation is on the Almaty airport (3 million passengers), Shymkent (905 thousand passengers) and Nur-Sultan (278.9 thousand passengers) follow. Of the 4.2 million passengers carried: domestic airlines transported almost 4 million people, of which 3.5 million passengers were transported by domestic flights, and 484.5 thousand passengers by international flights.
