Lufthansa will provide the Economy sleeping accommodation on an ongoing basis

The German airline Lufthansa has announced that it will permanently provide with Economy sleeping accommodation on long-haul routes. When paying a fee from 159 to 229 euros per flight, a passenger can get a block of three or four seats, a mattress, a pillow and a blanket as in business class, according to the avianews.
The sleeping accommodation can only be arranged at the check-in counter or at the boarding gate if seats are still available. In total, the new service will be able to three passengers on each flight. The sleeping accommodation will be available on routes over 11 hours, such as Far East, the US West Coast, Central and South America or South Africa.
At the end of 2020, Lufthansa sold economy-class sleeping accommodation for several weeks in test mode on the route between Frankfurt and São Paulo amid declining the air load and along with travel restrictions. Previously, the service was available only for the First or Business Class passengers on long-haul flights.
