Wizz Air will restore their pre-crisis capacity by 100%

Hungarian ultra-low-cost carrier Wizz Air is expanding its production capacity again: 600 new pilots are currently being trained. By the middle of the summer season, the intensity of the park's exploitation has been also increased.
For the 2021, the Hungarian carrier suffered losses in the amount of 576 million euros. In the next three months, the airline used only 33% of its carrying capacity.
“Mobility restrictions in the past period continued to impede a full recovery of international flights. But throughout the quarter, we have seen encouraging signs for passenger demand. People have begun returning to travel despite the restrictions,” said Josef Varadi, Wizz Air President.
