The first Airbus A350 "made in China" has been delivered to customer

For the first time, European aircraft manufacturer Airbus delivered its modern the A350 wide-body aircraft to a customer through its supply center in China. A special ceremony was held at the Tianjin plant.
The A350-900s modification was received by the Chinese airline China Eastern Airlines. Currently, the company is the largest operator of Airbus equipment in Asia and the second in the world on this indicator. At the end of June, the airline's fleet consisted of 349 medium-range A320 family aircrafts, 55 wide-body A330s and nine A350s.
The Airbus has launched Chinese Supply Center in September 2017 in response to numerous purchase orders of this region. Initially, A330s were being produced at the plant, and this fleet was joined by the A350 model. The Center is engaged in cabin production, fuselage painting, flight tests, along with several procedures for reception and handover of aircrafts to airlines.
