Kazakhstan presented innovative developments at the MAKS-2021 Air Show

Domestic military enterprises presented their civil aviation products at the International Air and Space Fair "MAKS-2021" in Russia, as reported by the Kazinform.

The strategic objective is to develop our local production within the country by promoting in-house developments to international market. The Kazakhstan side, being a co-host of the exhibition, facilitated the participation of 20 domestic aviation industrial enterprises at the Airshow, according to Managing Director of "Kazakhstan Engineering" Saniyar Aitekenov.  “Within five days, we are ready to conclude more than a hundred agreements, memorandums with foreign partners. We produce spare parts for Russian manufacturers, as well as for foreign equipment. Our country is gradually becoming a competitive player in the aviation industry, and we are trying to cooperate with manufacturers from all over the world", he stated.

All the production enterprises of JSC “Kazakhstan Engineering” are engaged in the MAKS-2021. Domestic expositions are represented by the models of N-145 helicopter, equipment for training flight and technical personnel, full-scale samples of manufactured products, such as an air target simulator based on an unmanned aerial vehicle. Visitors can also see a helicopter's cockpit model equipped with modern avionics, as well as models of assembled, repaired and serviced helicopters.

The 15th International Air and Space Fair "MAKS-2021" is being held from 20 to 25 July 2021 in Zhukovsky, Moscow region. The exhibition is represented by achievements of the Russian aerospace industry and latest aircrafts from leading countries of the world, thereby gathering more than 140 thousand specialists and 570 thousand participants.

The Kazakhstan delegation is headed by the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov. During the forum, our delegation intends to conduct meetings with the leadership and specialists of Russian relevant agencies, aerospace and defense enterprises, leading to the signed agreements.
