According to the portal ProfiTravel, Turkish airline Onur Air will launch flights since July 26 after a one-year break. In 2020, the carrier has suspended flights due to the pandemic. Now, its operational activity will be resumed from July 26 - the beginning of the Eid al-Adha Holiday.
The first destination has not yet been announced, but experts believe that it could be Germany or Russia, since Onur Air has been actively working with these two aviation markets before the pandemic. Thus, tour operators often carried tourists to Antalya on the company's flights, therefore, given the increased demand for Turkey this summer, such transportation will be in demand.
The crisis associated with the pandemic caused serious damage to the carrier: it had to reduce their fleet by almost three times. In addition, company had a large debt ($ 526,000) for ground handling at Antalya airport. Currently, Onur Air's fleet has two Airbus A320-200's and five Airbus A330-200 aircrafts.
