One of the largest air carriers of Kazakhstan, the airline SCAT and Saber Corporation, an American technology and software provider for tourism industry, have entered into a strategic partnership agreement under which the largest private Kazakhstan carrier will implement the SabreSonic Passenger Service System (PSS) and will also use Saber Commercial Platform in order to maximize income, ATO writes.
“In the new travel reality, we really need to be flexible and provide our customers with special offers at the right time and through the right ways. The agreement with Sabre is one of the important pillars of our strategy that will lead us to new opportunities, thereby providing a better level of passenger service, modern booking technologies, intelligent revenue management and gives us to maximize our profits", said Vladimir Denisov, President of SCAT Airlines.
Under the agreement, SCAT will also implement the Sabre Revenue Optimizer solution that enables the carriers to maximize their revenue in complicated market conditions. Prior to COVID-19, airline pricing and carrying capacity were based on enormous booking and pricing data. The pandemic has led to unprecedented changes in supply and demand, making this data less relevant. The Revenue Optimizer will assist the Kazakhstan airline in adapting the ever-changing environment using the latest real-time market data.
