A Republican Independent State Enterprise for ATM, ground-based technical operation and radio technical flight support "Kazaeronavigatsia" was created by the order of the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 22, 1995 No. 133 in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 10, 1994 No. 489 by separating from the National JSC Company "Kazakhstan Aye Zholy".

The main objective of the Enterprise is to ensure flight safety and provide high-quality air navigation services in the airspace of Kazakhstan.

Currently, the Enterprise has an optimal structure, including three Regional Centers (Central Kazakhstan, South-East, West Kazakhstan) and 12 branches (Aktau, Atyrau, Karaganda, Shymkent, Kostanay, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, Kokshetau , Pavlodar, Uralsk, Petropavlovsk), 17 remote positions (Taldykorgan, Boralday, Usharal, Zharkent, Shalkar Karabutak, Beineu, Balkhash, Zhezkazgan, Arkalyk, Aralsk / Novokazalinsk, Bayanaul, Urdzhar, Semey, Zaysan, Ayagoz, Turkestan). Moreover, the enterprise's structure includes the Professional Training Center and the Aviation Medical Center that are located in Almaty.

The scope of tasks in the field of air navigation services is determined by the enormous territorial space of the country and the presence of transcontinental routes. 126 air routes pass over the territory of Kazakhstan with a total length of 118.5 thousand km, where 109 are international ways (108.4 thousand km) and 17 ways are internal (10.1 thousand km). We have 73 air corridors on the border with neighboring states (Russia - 30, China - 2, Kyrgyzstan - 6, Uzbekistan - 30, Turkmenistan - 2, Azerbaijan - 3).

Annually, approximately 800 ATM specialists serve more than 250 thousand flights per year or more than 700 aircrafts per day. Our Enterprise is one of the most efficient providers of air navigation services in the Eurasian region.
