Helicopter operators of Kazakhstan and Russia have signed a memorandum of cooperation

Russian UTair and Kazaviaspas have developed a long-term partnership in the field of flight training and technical personnel, technical maintenance and providing air services at the Mi-26. The relevant memorandum was signed during the HeliRussia-2021 exhibition, ATO writes.
UTair intends to provide the training and retraining for Kazaviaspas flight personnel. Employees of the Kazakhstan operator will be able to get access to simulators for Mi-26, Mi-8T, Mi-8MTV and Mi-8AMT helicopters at the Tyumen Training Center of the Russian company. In addition, UTair will provide aviation services and maintenance on a Mi-26 helicopter for the benefit of Kazakhstan side. Maintenance of the Mi-17 helicopters will be also carried out at the request of Kazaviaspas using the UTair-Engineering MRO provider.
Kazaviaspas helicopters, including Mi-171, Mi-8T, Mi-8MTV, Mi-17V-5, Mi-26, Airbus EC-145 and Ka-32A11BC are used to suppress the fires, medical aviation, search and rescue operations, evacuation of casualties, emergency, forestry maintenance flights and the delivery of humanitarian cargo.
