The Interagency Commission to Prevent the Emergence and Spread of Coronavirus Infection on the Territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan allowed the opening and increase of regular international flights to Montenegro, the United Arab Emirates, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and the Netherlands, Tengritravel.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Civil Aviation Committee of the MIIR RK.
Passenger flights to Podgorica (Montenegro) are allowed five times a week from Almaty and three times a week from Nur-Sultan from May 15, 2021. From May 10, 2021, the number of permitted regular flights to Dubai from Almaty will increase from five to seven for each side, and from Nur-Sultan - from three to five flights per week.
It is also known that from May 20, 2021, a phased replacement of Air Astana flights on the Atyrau - Frankfurt - Atyrau route to the Atyrau - Amsterdam - Atyrau route is allowed once a week, with a further increase to two as restrictions are lifted by the Netherlands.
