The European Commission proposes to ease restrictions on residents of third countries, giving them the opportunity to travel in Europe. Entry may be allowed to tourists from countries with a favorable epidemiological situation, as well as vaccinated with EMA-approved vaccines. These include Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, AstraZeneca (two options), and Pfizer / BioNTech. If in a country whose citizens are given access to the EU, a surge in morbidity begins, the European Commission reserves the right to temporarily suspend the reception of guests from there.
"Vaccine Passports" will appear in Europe in June. As “RIA Novosti” writes with reference to the Italian Minister of Tourism Massimo Garavalho, vaccinated residents of third countries will also be able to receive this document. A vaccination certificate would be enough to avoid quarantine, the official said.
