Ashyq app is being introduced at Nur-Sultan airport

Since May 12, a special passenger admission project called the Ashyq application is being implemented at the Nursultan International Airport, as reported by the business information center Kapital.kz with reference to the airport's press service.

The status of a passenger will be determined by integrating the mobile application with the general database of the Ministry of Health: whether he is infected by the virus or not. These efforts already undertaken to provide additional control for the safety of passengers and employees of airlines and airport, apart from masks, thermometry, ventilation, etc.

The airport's press service explained that since thermometry is identifying one of the striking symptoms of COVID-19 (increased body temperature), the use of the Ashyq application will be an additional safety guarantee for passengers and staff. Passengers with yellow and red status will not be allowed into the terminal building.
