Turkish Airlines and Pegasus Airlines are launching new flights

In accordance with the decision of the Interdepartmental Commission on Preventing the Emergence and Spread of Coronavirus Infection in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Turkish airlines are permitted to open an international scheduled flight on the routes Turkestan - Istanbul and Shymkent - Istanbul.
From May 22, 2021, Turkish Airlines start operating new flights between the two Turkic capitals on the route Turkestan - Istanbul - Turkestan. At the initial stage, flights will be operated with a frequency of one flight per week (6 days) on an A-321Neo aircraft.
From May 23, 2021, the designated Turkish air carrier Pegasus Airlines intends to resume regular flights between Shymkent and Istanbul. Flights will be operated with a frequency of one flight per week (7 days) on a B-737 aircraft.
It should be noted, the number of flights will be increased once the epidemiological situation improves. Flights will be operated in strict compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements and in accordance with the published timetable on the airlines' websites.
