The Ministry for Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan has reported that the country intends to reduce flights to Turkey, Liter.kz writes. The number of flights to the popular country will be reduced from twenty to nine per week.

Since April 26, the total number of flights between Kazakhstan and Turkey will be reduced from twenty to nine flights per week, according to the protocol of the Interdepartmental Commission dated April 14. In Turkey, more than 50 thousand cases of coronavirus infection are detected every 24 hours. Previously, Russian Federation has also restricted flights to the country. According to the travel agencies of Kazakhstan, approximately 200 citizens are currently located in Turkey.
