Coordination search and rescue exercises were held in the Turkestan region

Today, the JSC "Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan" supported by the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan have conducted coordination search and rescue operations (actions). The course was attended by the crew and representatives of the JSC "Kazavispas", operating in the Turkestan region; the Search and Rescue Coordination Center and the ATM service of the Shymkent branch of the "Kazaeronavigatsia" RSE; the Rescue Squad of the Firefighting Service and Emergency Rescue Operations under the Department of Emergency Situations of Shymkent (rescuers); Disaster Medicine Center's branch of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan (medical officers); Emergency Rescue team of the Shymkent aerodrome.

During the exercise, the above-mentioned services elaborated a methodology of interaction during search and rescue operations, search methods in case of disaster, selection of landing sites for search and rescue aircraft, as well as an evacuation of casualties. The EC-145 helicopter of the JSC "Kazavispas" with rescuers and medical officers on board was involved for exercises.
