Iran has launched a new flight to Kazakhstan

Iranian airline Kish Air has launched the first flight between Gorgan and Aktau, according to Tengritravel.kz. As the newspaper writes, the first flight from Gorgan was landed in Aktau on April 1, 2021. Initially, flights will be operated once a month, but eventually will lead to an increased frequency.

Iranian Airlines consists of four Tu-154s and several MD-80s, as well as Fokker-100 aircrafts, operating on its domestic and international flights. Reportedly, Iran and Kazakhstan have historically fraternal and friendly relations, thereby direct flights will be another step towards strengthening ties and friendship between the two nations.
