Several foreign airlines are returning to Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan continues gradually restoring international air routes that were closed at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020. Several foreign airlines have added flights to the cities of Kazakhstan to their schedules and began selling air tickets since April and May, Forbes.kz writes.
From April 27, 2021, the Polish carrier LOT Polish Airlines will launch flights to Kazakhstan. The airline intends to operate on the previously Nur-Sultan - Warsaw route twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays. Air Arabia will resume flights from Sharjah (United Arab Emirates) to Almaty since May 2, 2021. The airline has added three flights a week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. On May 3, 2021, Turkish Airlines is launching flights scheduled on the Istanbul - Turkestan route. The Turkish carrier will operate regular flights with a frequency of three flights a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Moreover, on May 8, Tajik Air is planning to return to Kazakhstan, operating on the Dushanbe-Almaty route once a week on Saturdays. From May 12, 2021, the Latvian airline Air Baltic will operate the Riga - Almaty flight three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Besides, on May 21, the Turkish airline Corendon will enter the Kazakhstan aviation market. From this date, Corendon will operate the Almaty - Antalya route twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.
