On March 10, the Falcon 6X business jet operated its first flight from the main Dassault Aviation aerodrome in Bordeaux-Mérignac, providing the flight test of the new flagship of the French manufacturer. Certification and commissioning of a new representative of the Falcon family in the business jet class with an increased flight range and a large cabin are scheduled for 2022, the news agency ATO writes.
The main feature of the Falcon 6X is the most spacious cabin in its class. The range will be amounted to 10190 km, the maximum speed is 0.9M. The three compartments of the 6X cabin comfortably accommodate up to 16 passengers. The wide-aisle is 5 inches wider than other Falcon models.
Moreover, one of the new features of the 6X is the FalconScan integrated on-board scanning system. The system monitors over 100,000 parameters and Dassault engineers have developed algorithms to overcome shortfalls and obtain data across the 6X fleet.
