Kazakhstan intends to launch free flights for kids. Under the Kids Go Free Program, free air tickets will be provided to children aged 2 to 14, Tengritravel.kz writes.
The main objective of the Kids Go Free program (children travel for free) is to motivate Kazakhstan citizens to rest with their families on the tourist destinations of Kazakhstan. Thus, junior tickets will be subsidized. According to the approximate calculations of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, national recreation will be cheaper by 30 percent.
Free air tickets will be available to the destinations of the top 10 tourist areas, determined by the State Development Tourism Program for 2019-2025.
Reportedly, free junior tickets will be available only within the framework of domestic tourism products under the Kids Go Free option. At the same time, no more than two children can travel with one adult (parent or legal representative of the child) on program requirements. The press service of the Ministry of Culture explained that the Kids Go Free program is currently under consideration in the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and will be approved after the adoption of the bill on tourism activities.
