Emirates passengers are allowed to buy additional seats after boarding

Emirates has offered a new service for economy class passengers wishing to expand their personal space on board, according to Tengritravel.kz.

Economy customers, having confirmed their booking are able to purchase up to three additional empty seats on their flights. If it possible, free seats nearby can be purchased only at the check-in counter before departure. The cost of one seat will be from $ 55 to $ 165 (from 23 thousand to 69 thousand tenge), in addition, a passenger have to pay any applicable taxes.

The company is confident that this service would be required among couples in love, as well as among travelers with children. In addition to the new option, Emirates is offering its economy class customers a special choice: seats with extra legroom, double and preferred seats or ordinary seats.
