Russia and the United Arab Emirates would create a joint venture to develop a supersonic passenger aircraft, according to the news agency Turister. The new business jet will be presented in two versions: with a capacity of 8 and 30 passengers, reaching the speed at Mach 1.8. The aircraft is already called the "grandson" of Tu-144 and Concorde.

Reportedly, the vehicle will fly on subsonic mode over the inhabited territories of the Earth and over the oceans and seas will be switched in the supersonic mode. These measures are supposed to be done to prevent the noise. So far, a business jet is being elaborated since the creation of a full-fledged civilian aircraft was considered unprofitable: airlines will not be able to offer passengers affordable ticket prices.
