Representatives of the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan (AAK) were introduced to recent activities of the National Coordination Emergency Medicine Center, being the single state operator in medical aviation industry of Kazakhstan, as reported by Kazinform with reference to the AAK's press service.

Currently, nine domestic small aviation airlines provide medical aviation services by offering 36 aircrafts. Using aircrafts in medical aviation equipped with several flight features ensure coverage of remote human settlements, considering the aerodrome facilities, geographical and climatic conditions, thereby providing allocated financial resources when flying in regions, between regional centers, flights abroad, in so doing, medical aviation flights are of stochastic nature.

During the meeting, parties have considered issues related to aircraft fleet upgrade, aircraft updating, medical modules on aircrafts, lack of control over aircrafts during the flight, as well as a significant information gap on aviation incidents. Following the session, parties agreed to cooperate and strengthen joint action in improving the situation regarding the issue of flight safety and aviation services. In the near future, the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan and the National Coordination Emergency Medicine Center would sign a Memorandum of Cooperation.
