Bombardier has become a business-jet manufacturer

The Canadian company Bombardier until recently a diversified company closed the deal to sell the railway equipment at the end of January, having become a manufacturer of exclusively business jets, the news agency ATO writes.

As a result of the deal with Alstom, the company has raised $ 3.6 billion, including $ 600 million of shares into French engineering company. Over the past year, Bombardier had completed several deals to sell its assets, including remaining shares in the assembly line of the A220 aircrafts (formerly CSeries), the production of regional CRJ's and aircraft details.

According to analysts, sales enabled the Bombardier to avoid the liquidity crisis. However, the Canadian manufacturer would face to difficulties in maintaining its competitiveness, competing with companies with more diversified businesses that generate profits from different business lines.
