India intends to produce vertical empennage for Boeing 737

Tata Boeing Aerospace is being a joint venture between Boeing and Indian manufacturer Tata Advanced Systems intends to launch vertical tail (keel) production for 737 narrow-body aircrafts at its plant in Hyderabad, India, the news agency ATO writes.
The finished structure parts will be shipped to Renton, Washington, USA, to Boeing's final assembly factory. Formally, this could be the beginning of advanced cooperation with India, thereby developing under the project a new state initiative Atmanirbhar Bharat ("self-sufficient India"), aimed at creating a significant production base in the country.
This initiative is being a logical extension of the Make In India program has been able to attract foreign direct investment to India, leading to the Tata Boeing JV's creation.
