Kazakhstan increases flights to Moscow

Air Astana has begun increasing flights from Kazakhstan to the capital of Russia, as reported by the NewTimes.kz with reference to the air carrier's press service. Passengers are able to get from Nur-Sultan to Domodedovo twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays. From February 5, direct flights will be resumed from Almaty to Moscow.

The airline reminded that only citizens of Russia and Kazakhstan and all those who have a residence permit in the Russian Federation are allowed to be entered into Russia. All foreign citizens arriving in Russia (including citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and having a residence permit in the Republic of Kazakhstan or the Russian Federation) must fill out a questionnaire and provide a PCR test certificate with a negative result received no earlier than 3 days until the flight.

Transit passengers arriving in the Russian Federation are accepted without restriction, but taking into account all the public requirements of final destination. The PCR test for transit passengers is mandatory, the validity period is as indicated above, the maximum residence time in the transit area is 24 hours.
