The world's largest helicopter exhibition has been canceled

The Helicopter Association International (HAI) adopted a "tough decision" to cancel the Heli-Expo 2021, the world's largest international helicopter forum scheduled for March 22-25 in New Orleans, USA. The President of the Association James Viola has apologized for the event's cancellation, the news agency ATO writes.

Previously, the British HeliOffshore agreed to cancel the annual conference scheduled for April in Lisbon (Portugal). It will be held online in May. Last year, Paris Air Show promoters canceled the world's largest air show Le Bourget 2021 due to the continuing uncertainty related to the COVID-19 pandemic and in the context of the crisis which has had an adverse impact on the aerospace industry. The air show was supposed to be the 54th and scheduled to be held from 21 to 27 June.

The Middle East and North Africa Business Aviation Association (MEBAA) has canceled the region's popular MEBAA Show, which has been postponed to late February 2021.
