Air Astana increases the frequency of flights from Kazakhstan to Maldives ahead of predicted time. On December 5, the airline operated its first flight from Almaty to Male with 151 passengers on board with a maximum capacity of 166 seats, Interfax-Kazakhstan writes.

"The next flight is expected to be loaded by 90%. Due to high demand, an additional third frequency will be introduced ahead of predicted time from December 14 (on Mondays) and will be operated until January 18," the company said.

From December 16 to January 16, flights will be operated on a wide-body Boeing 767 aircraft. To enter the Republic of Maldives, a passenger is required to provide a negative PCR test certificate in English. From the moment of taking the material until the scheduled flight should not exceed 96 hours.
