The work on maintenance and repair of Secondary Surveillance Radar MSSR-JAC in Kokshetau branch was performed

At the end of November 2020, specialists of the "VNIIRA-OVD" CJSC performed maintenance and repair services for the MSSR-JAC Secondary Surveillance Radar, which has been operated since February 2006 at the Kokshetau branch.

An integrated radar serviceability check was carried out when servicing, as well as antenna drive maintenance works, replacement of the drive shaft bearings, reduction gear bearings, an omentum's pallet, replacement of memory chips, as well as restoration of software boards were carried out.

On December 2 this year, the MSSR-JAC radar's operation was successfully completed. As a result of the work carried out by "VNIIRA-OVD" specialists, all MSSR-JAC settings comply with the requirements of the operational documentation, and the radar is suitable for further use in ATM service.
