Minister for Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan met with the US Ambassador to Kazakhstan

Possibilities of pursuing the cooperation and promoting the partnership were discussed during the session of the Minister for Industry and Infrastructure Development of the RK Beibut Atamkulov  with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USA to the Republic of Kazakhstan William Moser.

The Minister and the Ambassador have discussed a current state and possibilities of deepening interaction with American companies in the mining and processing industries, as well as the development of direct flights between Kazakhstan and the United States.

American companies are among the largest investors in Kazakhstan. US companies have invested more than $ 53 billion in implementing important industrial projects of Kazakhstan. Nowadays, 700 joint ventures involving American investments are operating in transport, energy, medicine, innovation industries.

The session was attended by the leadership of structural units of the Ministry for Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Adviser to the US Ambassador on Economics Timothy Timmons.
