SITA offers the SD-WAN system to airports

One of the leading IT solutions providers for air transport industry, SITA combined with French telecommunications company Orange Business Services to propose airports a multicontrol SD-WAN software-defined service. A flexible and scalable global network powered by the SITA AirportHub platform has already been implemented at more than 60 airports around the world, according to the SITA's data.

The developer explained the advantage of SD-WAN system in the ability to combine multiple connections into an unique virtual network, leading to cost reduction of the airline industry, significantly increasing data efficiency and network capacity. The functional solution also supports to quickly respond to unpredictable passenger flows under the COVID-19 pandemic in a more cost-effective way.
