The first international routes are scheduled to be launched to Istanbul and Dubai. While the air traffic and industry have been recovering, it has been suggested to launch flights to Moscow, Baku, Samarkand and other cities.
To support foreign airlines and expand the flight geography, the International Turkestan Airport would develop the "open skies" regime. Therefore, foreign tourists will be able to visit the spiritual center of the Turkic world.
The total area of the airport is 905.3 hectares, the passenger terminal's area is 10.5 thousand m2, the runway is 3,300x45 m, the capacity is 450 passengers per hour.
